String program

Contact information for String Academy

Participants will have substantial individual lessons and chamber music coaching with members of the world famous St. Petersburg String Quartet, and our outstanding teachers. The students will have an opportunity to perform with the orchestra.

1st week - auditions and setting groups

Lessons schedule:

3-4 private lessons per week depending on the number of the students

3-4 quartet or other chamber music lessons. This will also include playing music with the members of the SPSQ

Studying individually orchestral parts

Concerto competition. 3-4 winners will be chosen to play with the orchestra in the final concert.

Daily orchestra rehearsals.

Students and teachers concerts.

June 12-26 - Dallas, TX
(PIANO PLAYERS CAN APPLY FOR THIS PART OF ACADEMY)
Great concert halls for your performances, professional video taping of all concerts, chance to play with an orchestra for the winners of our concerto competition. Established ensembles are welcome.

June 28-July 8 - Falls Village, CT (at Music Mountain)
The number of students is limted for this part of Academy.
We can accept only 20 students !!! Hurry!!
Beautiful location, cosy housing, home made food!
Our Academy will be part of the famous Music Mountain Festival which selebrated its 80th Season in 2009.

July 9-23 - Tijuana, Mexico
